
Lucy Adams is a New York based filmmaker. Her short documentary, Coywolf, about coyotes in NYC, received an Artistic Vision award at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in 2025 and was supported by the BRIClab Film + TV Residency in 2024. In 2019 her short documentary about sculptor Lorrie Goulet premiered at MoMA, screened at DOC NYC, and was supported by the Women's Film Fund from the Office of the Mayor of New York and the New York Foundation for the Arts. She was a member of Creative Culture at the Jacob Burns Film Center in 2017 and a recipient of the Valentine and Clark Emerging Artist Fellowship in 2016. She has an MFA in Integrated Media Arts from Hunter College and has taught courses in film production at Hunter and CUNY City College.
