
Lucy Adams is a New York based filmmaker. She is currently completing her MFA in Integrated Media at Hunter College.
Her short documentary, Coywolf, about coyotes in NYC, received an Artistic Vision award at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in 2025 and was supported by the BRIClab Film + TV Residency in 2024. In 2019 her short documentary about sculptor Lorrie Goulet premiered at MoMA and was supported by the Women's Film Fund from the Office of the Mayor of New York and the New York Foundation for the Arts. She was a member of Creative Culture at the Jacob Burns Film Center in 2017 and a recipient of the Valentine and Clark Emerging Artist Fellowship in 2016. She has taught courses in film production at Hunter College and CUNY City College.
